THE METRO TRANSPORT AND TRAFFIC DIRECTORATE (MTTD) ENSURES 0% TOLERANCE ON ROAD ACCIDENT – PRE CHRISTMAS AND BEYOND


The MTTD of the Ghana Police Service in collaboration with the DVLA Ghana National Fire Service PROTOA GPRTU National Road and Safety Commission and the Media to ensure that Ghana’s road are safe enough to reduce accidents.

This campaign which is dubbed “wo nkwa ho hia” is said to run from now till the end of the new year season, is to check most commercial vehicles (trotro).
 According to Director in charge of Educational Research for MTTD they will be at post, all over Ghana to ensure that drivers and pedestrians are properly sensitized concerning road safety.

 carefully cautioned drivers and pedestrians that the MTTD is on the watch to make sure that they achieve their aim from now to 2016, as he emphasized that every car drivers must cooperate.
