HEREDITARY OR SICKNESS – BEING A FOOL

Being a fool in the society does not make you less of a human, although such person’s behavior are questionable and appear silly most at times, we wanted to know if the underlying cause was hereditary or sickness.

SOOBOLO spoke to Psychologist of the School of Public Health, University of Ghana Dr. Emmanuel Asampong. 
He said that the word “Fool or Foolish” is undermining and unpleasant in its use since such person we associate them to are mentally challenged and does not render them helpless and dumb.

Dr. Asampong explained that the leading underlying factor or cause is sometimes associated to heredity which might have affected people in the family, making an impact on people born from that bloodline with the a greater possibility of being foolish. 

SOOBOLO news also went out to the public to find out what their thoughts were on the cause of Foolishness in people.

Abena: lol i just think its runs through the family

Forson: Nahh! such people are sick and just sick

Sammy: Hmm its sickness

Adrian: They just mentally challenged ooo

My opinion is that make sure you don't derogate people by calling them fools pls ooo ahh
