DRIVERS CRY OVER DEAD STREET LIGHTS

DRIVERS CRY OVER DEAD STREET LIGHTS

Drivers who drive especially on the motorway and on the Sakumono beach road at night are worried over   poor visibility due to the dead streetlights that are suppossed to brighten the roads for both drivers and pedestrains at night or in a foggy atmosphere.

Speaking to some commercial drivers who load from Circle to Tema, they  says, their vehicle are machines which can develop fault at anytime on the road and when  such situations occur, armed robbers take advantage to rob  them since the street lights are dead and the roads and highway authority refuse to come to their aid.
Some drivers also say, because the street lights are dead, when driving at night, the driver can easily knocks down a pedestrian as a result to poor visibility The commercial drivers who use the motorway consistenly through out the day are pleading to the Gov't and highway authority to fix more street lights and change dead dtreet light bulbs.
