FDA CAUTIONS AGAINST CHEAP PRODUCTS AND HAMPERS AS XMAS APPROACHES

Principal Regulatory Officer at Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), Mr. Kofi Essel has cautioned the public against fake and cheap products during Xmas.

 Speaking to the SOOBOLO team, Mr. Essel advised consumers  who patronize various items in preparation towards Xmas to be careful of "very cheap products" that are and will be introduced into the market. He warned consumers  to check products 

 expiry dates of products rice, tinned tomatoes, spices etc

He said that other consumersble products can be repackaged into new bags , especially certain items found among Xmas hampers.
He digressed on this issue saying that expired foods that are eaten are factors of commom health problems. I hope we are shining our eyes as xmas approaches
