NRSC URGES PASSENGERS TO TAKE COMMERCIAL VEHICLES FROM REGISTERED STATIONS

The National Road and Safety Commission (NRSC) is pleading with passengers to take commercial vehicle from a recognize lorry stations when they are travelling so that in case of accident and casualties they can be easily be identified.

The Executive Director of National Road and Safety Commission, Mrs. May Obiri- Yeboah she says that, passengers especially those who go on long journey usually stand by the road side to take commercial vehicles instead of going to a registered commercial station to board them and this makes it difficult to identify them anytime there is an accident. 
She said that passengers who go to a registered lorry stations are normally asked of their numbers and other information so incase there is an accident relatives of the people involved can easily be identified.
Mrs. May Obiri- Yeboah also warn drivers to stop over speeding as the Christmas approaches.
