Amakye Dede escapes death in gory motor crash

Ghanaian high life legend Amakye Dede escaped death by a whisker, but lost his manager Isaac Yeboah in a gory motor crash.

The incident happened on New Year's Day.

Amakye Dede and his entourage were reportedly going for a show when a vehicle rammed into their parked vehicle.

According to an eyewitness, the highlife great was changing in his car ahead of his performance when the motor accident occurred.

He said a cab driver overtook the bus and in an attempt to avoid a head on crash, the driver veered off into the vehicle of the musician.

The accident occurred close to Osino, after the popular Paradise Filling Station.

The artiste and his bodyguard sustained severe injuries and are receiving treatment at the Osiem Government Hospital.

Yeboah, who passed away, was the editor of the tabloid P&P.
