uniBank refurbishes Police Training School charge office

Indigenous bank, uniBank, has refurbished the charge office of the National Police Training School at a cost of GHC30,000.

The initiative forms part of the corporate social responsibility of the Internal Audit Department of the bank.

The refurbishment covered areas such as tiling, painting and changing of the doors and windows. The bank also provided a television set and some branded Clock for the enhanced charge office.

The Head of Internal Audit Department at the bank, Ebenezer Baffoe told the media the move is part of efforts to support the Police service in its training activities.

“This endeavor is to show our appreciation to the Ghana Police Service for the support they provide us at uniBank Ghana Limited and also encourage them in undertaking the complex task of providing security to the nation.”

The Commanding Officer of the National Police Training School Deborah Addison expressed her appreciation to the bank for their support and appealed for more corporate involvement in the affairs of the 85-year-old institution.
