Lawyer abandons Wisa over legal fee

‘Wisa’ Greid
Jerry Agbenovor, lawyer of embattled hiplife artiste Wisa, abandoned his client in court today for non-payment of legal fees.

Speaking to Starr News’ court correspondent Wilberforce Asare, Wisa's manager Nana Konadu Agyemang confirmed that the budding musician “has not engaged his lawyer's services by way of a negotiation” after he secured bail for him two weeks ago.

When the case was eventually called, the judge ordered the prosecution to produce a copy of the video showing Wisa on stage unzipping his manhood during the next hearing.

The case has been adjourned to February 5.

‘Wisa’ Greid has pleaded not guilty to a charge of gross indecency after his first appearance in Court on 30 December, 2015.

Wisa is currently on bail after he was arrested by the police for exposing his genitals on stage at the ‘December 2 Remember’ concert at the Accra International Conference Center on Christmas Eve.

Social media platforms were awash with videos of the ‘Ekiki Me’ hit singer stripping and rubbing his manhood behind his female dancer on stage.
