PURE WATER DRIVER ARRESTED FOR WEE POSSESSION

The Apam police in the Central Region have intercepted 30 bags of dried leaves with 79 parcels each, suspected to be 'wee'.
The 'wee' was concealed under a sachet water in a KIA truck with registration number GT 8346 X.


Two suspects namely, Kofi Gyamfi and Isaac Amanor, in their 20s, who are said to have supplied the parcels from Amasaman to Gomoa Dago, have been arrested and currently assisting the police in their investigations.



The Apam District Commander, ASP Cephas Edzeani who confirmed the incident on Adom News said the truck was intercepted during a routine patrol by the police.




He said it was during a search that the police found the dried leaves in thirty bags containing 79 parcels.
ASP Edzeani advised the general public against illicit trading in drugs and said the police would continue to crack down on such people.
